About Me
I love witnessing clients move beyond their expectations. I focus on helping clients see their inherent strengths and learn how to recognize and change unhelpful mindsets, relationship patterns, and behaviors. The right therapist can help you make changes that you never thought possible. In my decades as a therapist, researcher and professor, I have seen clients far exceed their expectations.
I strongly believe that secure relationships are essential for personal growth, happiness, and life satisfaction. I foster a strong bond with my clients, and this connection becomes the basis for the work that we do together. It’s important to me that clients feel safe, understood and supported. With this security, clients gain the courage to look more deeply at themselves and make important changes.
In my work with couples, I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy. We work together to identify where you are stuck, and move forward in developing a closer and more emotionally connected relationship. Many couples find renewed hope and increased connection and passion in their relationships.
My Specialties
My current focus is on working with couples in weekly therapy or intensives. I also provide 90-minute intake consultations for couples seeking one session to gain some direction, with recommendations for resources, treatment recommendations, or follow-up.
