What to Expect from a Parenting Consultation
Parenting consultations are designed to assist parents in feeling more connected to their children and more effective in their parenting. These sessions can be more directive than psychotherapy, although collaboration is essential to identify the function of behaviors and engage in creative problem-solving. Our goal is to leave parents feeling validated and supported, recognizing that parents are the true experts on their own children. We value and normalize the needs and emotions of parents to increase confidence and self-compassion.
